I cant even create a guide for Vegas 2, since I dont own the Steam version. Once this is done, Save the setting, Restart your router and restart your computer.ġ) Enable the uPNP in-game (If its the case aleardy, just turn if off, leave the game and turn it back on again)Ģ)Try removing your router if you have one, and connecting your system directly to the Internet connection and try the game againģ) Go to your "Uplay" account and log into Ubisoft from their website in a browser. If you want to install everything manually, just drag and drop each folder within the mod folder into Tom Clancys Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (or Rainbow Six Vegas 2 for Steam). They MAY probably help on the outcome of the issue ( You don't need to do all of them. But there is a couple of possible fix left to try. There is a limited workaround that invloves multi-screening your resolution but this gives the game black borders at the top and bottom. Ubisoft claim the narrow view is to give the player a more cinematic experience which is of course utter bollocks. After Ubisoft fixes the Online (Ha, good joke), this guide will become obsolete. This makes no changes other than allowing you to play LAN over the internet. Ranks and loadouts will work as intended. IT IS possible that may not work even after doing so. Unfortunately there is no workaround for the extremely narrow field of view. All players need to complete the setup steps in order to play, and be in your network, obviously.

The version of your game is currently the latest 1 they released. You might want to test it out before doing everything below. READ FIRST -> Edit: CURRENTLY the game server is AVAIBLE. They will ask you to check your firewall and open specific port so you can login into that server. There is a few solution to get into the server of Vegas 2, but its such a mess. thats why people are using Tunngle because it will work on the first try and never be bothere anymore by the Failed to initialize connection. I replaced the folder with my backup, CLOSED UTORRENT (I was seeding, not downloading anything), and NO MORE GPF ISSUE. The fact that tunngle is always working its because their server is sightly stable compare to the server of Vegas 2. First, I backed up my files, deleted the ones in the R6VEGAS2 folder, restarted steam and Rainbow Six only for it to give the same GPF issue. Its just the Ubisoft server that fail hard for Vegas 2. Online play whit other people all around the worlds. Thats the difference, but they do have both same purpose.

So I created a layout based on modern fps controls. What is the difference between the two games in the online servers 2 is a Public Server - Tunngle is a P2P Server that create a Virtual Network to emulate LAN play. Seen people asking about controller support and checked out some of the steam controller configurations but they were all missing inputs. L4D2 is Valve Corporation - Vegas 2 is Ubisoft Montreal - Tunngle is a VPN Software that EMULATE LAN PLAY Left 4 dead 2 does not need Tunngle and works right away why L4D2 is not a Ubisoft game, they are different Producer. Just Vegas 2 server is a pain to get logged in Why this reinbowsix 2 works only with Tunngle servers works.
